Unconscious Bias in Our Relationships: What you don't know can hurt you
As social beings, our brains develop through experiences and relationships. In this session we’ll explore how brain categorizes, anticipates, keeps us safe. These functions also create unconscious biases that affect our relationships with children and reinforce adultism. Awareness of how unconscious bias influences our actions and behaviors can help us retrain our brains to change how we interact with and build equitable relationships with children.
